Turabi concerned over Pak, AJK Govts silence on Kashmir dispute
Bagh (AJK): Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Abdur Rashid Turabi criticized the AJK government’s role on Kashmir dispute and demanded off diplomatic campaign on international level to undertake the Indian human violations in Indian occupied Kashmir. The silence of Pakistan and AJK Governments over Kashmir dispute was a great concerned for Kashmiri peoples, he added.
While talking to a gathering of the peoples here on Monday Abdur Rasheed Turabi criticized the role of AJK government and said that corruption culture had developed in the area and funds were being misused. Government was not playing its due role for the resolution of Kashmir dispute so Kashmiri peoples had great concern on the attitude of AJK and Pakistan governments towards the resolution of Kashmir stance.
He said that until India did not resolved the long-out-standing issue of Kashmir peacefully in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations the declaration of a most favoured nation status for trade to India by Pakistani government was also a great concern for Kashmiri people.
He urged the Pakistan government to highlight the Kashmir issue and the Indian state terrorism unleashed in the Occupied Kashmir at the all international forums.
He said it is totally unintelligible and inconceivable decision on the part of government of Pakistan to declare a state as most favoured status that has “in clear violation of international norms of justice been involved in massive human rights violations in Kashmir.” decision would have dire consequences on Kashmiris’ peaceful struggle to achieve their legitimate right.
He called for National unity and asked for diplomatic campaign on international level to undertake the Indian aggression against Kashmiri peopls and human violations in Indian occupied Kashmir
He added that the people of the territory had great expectation from the government and people of Pakistan and demanded Kashmiris’ inclusion in Pakistan – India talks.
