Students again hit streets, clash with forces in Srinagar, Magam


SRINAGAR : Clashes broke out between Indian security forces and students of SP College when they tried to march towards M.A road todayon Monday.


Reports said that the security forces stopped students from coming out of the college premises which resulted in intense clashes.


Report also added that SHO Kral Khud received a stone in his head leaving him injured. He has been shifted to hospital.


Meanwhile, Students of Government Higher Secondary School and Government Degree College Magam in Budgam district also stages protests triggering clashes.


The students were raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans while trying to come out on streets, which was restricted by the police. Police resort to tear gas to disperse the students.


Kashmir is witnessing student protests since April 15 after at least 60 students were injured in force’s action in Pulwama. (PTK)
