RSS Driven Indian Plans against Pakistan

As part of anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan approach, leader of the BJP and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is giving impetus to Hindu chauvinism, especially in accordance with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) driven Indian plans against Pakistan.

While, the constitution declares India to be a secular state, granting equal rights to the religious minorities, but in practice ideology of Hindutva (Hindu nationalism) prevails. Hindu politics and culture, dominated by the fundamentalist parties such as BJP, VHP, Shiv Sena and particularly RSS including other extremist outfits have been propagating Hindutva. Provocative utterances of their extremist leaders have resulted into unending violence against the Muslim and Christians including other minority groups, while creating war-like situation between Pakistan and India.

In fact, Hinduvta agenda enabled BJP hardliner, Narendra Modi to get a land sliding triumph in the Indian elections 2014. In this regard, RSS driven anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan move of the BJP including other Hindu fanatic parties could be judged from various recent developments. On May 28, 2014, Rashtriya Hindu Andolan, a Mangalore-based Hindutva outfit and activists from various right wing groups organized a protest in Mangalore in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner by demanding the authorities to ban the morning Muslim call to prayer (Azan) across the country. Besides, forcing the Muslim employee in a Parliament Canteen by BJP leader to break his fast by stuffing piece of bread in his mouth, statement of Deputy Chief of Goa, declaring India as a Hindu state, opposition to declaration of Sania Mirza as Ambassador of Indian state by calling her daughter-in-law of Pakistan might be cited as example.

In this respect, in collaboration with the RSS, Indian agencies orchestrated a drama to defame Pakistan in the world. On December 31, 2014, Indian media allegedly reported that a Pakistani fishing boat as a Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was intercepted by Indian Coast Guards, at Porebandar, Gujarat. As per Indian Coast Guard IG, K R Nautiyal, an operation was undertaken on a precise intelligence tip and boat was ordered to stop, but it did not comply and sped away. They set the boat on fire and it exploded. Indian Coast Guard officials stated that no body or debris was found due to bad weather. However, Indian officials who failed to produce any evidence to Islamabad started portraying another version by suggesting that the boat which had left Keti Bandar, Karachi might have belonged to small time smugglers. While, it is not possible that 30 HP boat could run four state of the art Indian Coast Guard ships.

The aim of this Indian drama was to create an aura against Pakistan prior to US President Barrack Obama’s recent visit to India and put pressure on Pakistan government on Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi’s bail issue and allege LeT as an organization, posing regional threats. Prior to Obama’s visit, Indian propaganda was part of overall plan to malign Pakistan of sponsoring terrorist activities in India.

Besides, it is the wicked scheme of Indian intelligence agency RAW, working in collaboration with RSS to carryout sabotage activities in Pakistan. RAW which has well-established its network in Afghanistan has been fully backing cross-border incursions including terror-activities in Balochistan and other regions of Pakistan. It has been equipping Baloch Sub-nationalists and other terrorists in Pakistan.

It is notable that Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif, accompanied by the DG of Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) went to Kabul on December 17, 2014. During his meeting with his Afghan counterpart, President Ashraf Ghani and the ISAF commander, he presented the evidence of linkage between the recent massacre of children at Peshawar school and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) sanctuaries in Afghan provinces of Kunar and Nuristan. He also asked about action against the TTP chief Mullah Fazlullah.

In this context, according to some media reports, Indian Prime Minister Modi was humbled by the US Secretary of State John Kerry when he met him during a recent official visit to India. During the meeting, American team got furious and showed some hard evidence of Mullah Fazalullah and RAW nexus in Afghanistan to influx terror in Pakistan.

And during his visit to Islamabad, John Kerry who met Pakistan’s political and military leaders, appreciated Pakistan’s armed forces about the successes, achieved during operation, Zarb-e-Azb. Again, John Kerry was shown evidence of Indian across Pakistan—financial support, training and provision of weapons to the militants.

Moreover, as per agenda of the RSS, New Delhi which has accelerated unprovoked firing at the Line of Control in Kashmir including Working Boundary in Sialkot and other sectors across Pak-Indian border, wants to continue it.

Besides Modi regime hurriedly decided to forcibly annex disputed territory of the State of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), uncovering its intentions to wrap up the article 370 of the Indian constitution which ensures a special status to J&K. Therefore, United Nations Military Observer Group India and Pakistan in New Delhi was asked to vacate official accommodation. Besides, BJP government‘s long term strategy is to affect demographic changes in the Indian occupied Kashmir by composition of the region—predominately with Hindu population and converting Muslims into a minority.

Modi’s government is also planning to instigate and exploit Kashmiri Mujahideen against Pakistan by creating differences between the Kashmiri leaders and Pakistan.

It is mentionable that last year, New Delhi cancelled the Secretary level talks with Islamabad, under the pretext that during his Indian visit Pakistan’s prime minister’s special advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz met Kashmiri leaders.

Nevertheless, every Indian government found excuses to cancel peace talks. For example, in 2002, under the pretension of terrorist attack on the Indian parliament, India postponed the dialogue process. Again, in 2008, India cancelled the ‘composite dialogue’ on the pretext of Mumbai terror attacks. Prime Minister Modi is raising baseless issue like Mumbai mayhem and terrorism as pre-conditions to advance the Pak-Indian dialogue. But, he ignored the fact that on July 19, 2013, the Indian ex-investigating officer Satish Verma disclosed that terror-attacks in Mumbai in November 26, 2008 and assault on Indian Parliament in January 12, 2001 were carried out by the Indian government to strengthen anti-terrorism laws.

Nonetheless, working in accordance with the RSS driven Indian plans against Pakistan, BJP led Indian government is promoting Hindutva philosophy and annex Kashmir as part of Indian union. Hence, it is not serious to resolve any issue with Pakistan, especially the core dispute of Kashmir.
