OIC reiterates solidarity with Kashmiri people
JEDDAH, Feb 5 (IINA): Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) while reiterating its firm
and full fledged solidarity with the Kashmiri people, has called for a peaceful and negotiated settlement of the decades-old Kashmir
dispute.
“I would like to reiterate the principled and clear position of the OIC that it is high time for a peaceful and negotiated
solution is worked out to put an end to this decades-old conflict,” said Khalid Bader from OIC while reading out a statement in a function held
in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day at Pakistan International School (English Section) Jeddah (PISJ).

Model Meeting on Jammu and Kashmir. Consul General Abdul Salik Khan was Chief Guest on the occasion, according to a message received here from Jeddah
on Saturday.
OIC was represented by Khalid Bader, Siddique Ibrahim Adam and Maha Akeel.
Khalid Bader while reading out the statement of
OIC said, “I would like to emphasize that this gathering, like other meetings held in support of the Kashmiri people constitutes a renewed
opportunity to express our (OIC) continued support for the people of Kashmir.”
“The OIC has consistently and constantly strived
hard on all occasions to shed light and to mobilize greater support and firmer solidarity for the struggle of the Kashmiri people at various
international fora,” he added.
