Unidentified persons attack army convoy in Kashmir

Srinagar: Unidentified hurled a grenade on the army convoy in north Kashmir's Baramulla town on Friday but no one was injured in the attack, police said.

“The incident occurred in Azad Gunj area when some unidentified militants hurled a grenade on one of the vehicles of the passing convoy,” senior police official told Agence India Press.

However, no one was injured as the grenade missed the target and exploded on the roadside, he added.

No outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Further reports were awaited. (AIP News)
