Mirwaiz inaugurates Kashmir Watch Europe Launching at Press Club Europe

Brussels: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Chairmain of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC-M) inaugurated the Kashmir Watch Europe Launching at Brussels Press Club Europe by clicking at www.kashmirwatch.com in presence of the members of the club.

On the occasion Mirwaiz Umar Farooq addressed the foreign correspondents of International media that said it is now great opportunity for you that we have now Kashmir Watch in Brussels and he is hopeful that members of club who believe on free press would be interested to know what is happening in Kashmir.

He said that Abdul Latif Bhat who is owning the website is now stationed in Brussels and he would be working for the Kashmir cause and bringing to you what is happening in that part of the world. Hope to see that your cooperation and your support in finding a just, amicable and hounarable solution of Kashmir problem according to the wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He also drew the attention of the media towards Kashmir conflict and said that as for as Kashmir is concerned we feel dismayed by the lack of international attention on the issue.

Kashmir is ignored in world media than the other conflicts of Afghanistan and Palestine. He said Kashmir needs more attention at international level because it is the worlds highest militarized zone where more than 600 thousand Indian troops are deployed which is 5 times more than the troops deployed in Afghanistan and Palestine.

He said it is now the moral duty of world community specially the European Union which is champion of the democracy, justice and human rights to raise their concern about the happenings in Kashmir.

Thomas A. Friedrich Chairmain Brussels Press Club Europe who chaired the inauguration of Kashmir Watch thanked Mirwaiz Umar Farooq for briefing foreign media members of club about Kashmir issue.
