“Might is right”

Muhammad Azam Inqilabi

Mighty rulers, under delusions of grandeur and neurotic obsession regarding their position of prominence, remain always, due to impulsive compulsion, fixated on their single-point agenda of domineering and overbearing overlordship and predominance. USA, due to its numerical superiority in missiles and nuclear warheads, feels inflated and elated to the extent that it arrogates to itself the position of supremacist de facto ruler of the globe. So the superiority complex of the supremacist power necessarily seeks supererogation. USA, therefore, remains hectically and obtrusively prying into the under-developed countries to ferret out lacunae in their system and poke its nose into their domestic affairs under some pretext and pretence. Its imperialistic mindset allures and entices it to relish ragging and nagging the leaders of impoverished countries in particular. It remains frantically busy in niggling, carping and cavilling at these leaders. Thus US allegorical mime implicitly insinuates: “yes, here I am to rule the roost and call the shots, because might is right.”

Occidental imperialists, under the fascist lemma “might is right”, have waged a war of attrition against the underdeveloped countries to trigger off political polarization and balkanization there. They surreptitiously create and contrive scission, schism and dissension in these countries to pave the way for their intervention and intrusion. These hapless countries, which are rent, ripped and riven within due to exogenously and artificially stage-managed ideological and political crises, upheaval and cataclysm, face constant consternation, horror and holocaust. The situation in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya is murky. NATO desperadoes continue to tyrannize, brutalize and vandalize the innocent people of Afghanistan and Libya. These inexorable warmongers, scrambling for bonanza and booty, have converted the beautiful villages and towns into ruins through blitz, missiles and blockbusters. NATO knock-down assault has compelled the terrorized people there to feel disconcerted, discomposed, shattered and freaked. The anguished, agonized and traumatized people of these war-ravaged countries feel disillusioned and disenchanted with the Asian giants which, through concerted efforts could parry, thwart and checkmate the onslaught of the reckless and ruthless military adventurists of the West. Occidental capitalists and bourgeois snobs are bent on piquing the pride of these war-torn countries. So the western imperialism is rocking the boat and undoing the dynamic equilibrium of the global political theatre.

It is heartening to know that Russian and Chinese supremos, while discussing the global political issues on June 16, 2011 AD in Moscow, signed a joint communiqué which vehemently castigated, lambasted, censured, reproved and reproached the western powers for their subjective policy of interventionism, which makes them audacious for intrusion in middle-East and northern Africa. It does not behove the Asian giants to remain voluntarily embedded in the quagmire of self-imposed isolationism in the arena of global politics. Please galvanize yourselves into action and activism that can help extenuate, mitigate and alleviate the sufferings of the war-ravaged countries of Asia and Africa.

It is high time when Muslim Ummah should extricate and retrieve itself from the whirlpool and vortex of group particularism and sectarianism and facilitate metaphysical harmony and coalescence through nonconformism and eclecticism. Monotheistic unity, streamlining of intellectual campaign entailing scientific research for technophilic creativity, consecrated efforts of dawah and indefatigable resolve to take on the adversaries with might and main should be the priority agenda of Islamic renaissance. Occidental ecumenism stands for military adventurism and expansionism. Caliphate stands for guaranteeing of tranquility and solace through intuitive introversion, pursuit of knowledge, altruism, egalitarian justice and humanism. So strive and struggle for the revival of caliphate (Khilafat). Why should the western bourgeoisie attribute and impute everything obnoxious, detestable, abominable and reprehensible to Muslim Ummah? Why should their lapses and reverses prompt them to pass the buck on others? Western society should remedy its ailment and predicament— paranoia, hedonistic romanticism, xenophobia, chauvinism, fascist obtrusion and imperialistic arrogance and pertinaciousness aimed at predatoriness, vampirism and cannibalism. Islam is averse to bigotry and bias in all forms and manifestations. It ordains and invokes all-pervasive compassion and justice. So Muslims should be proud of their cult and culture. Mutualism and codependency should be the base and bedrock of confraternity of Islamic coreligionists.

Attitude of Indian media vis-à-vis Pakistan is based on bias and prejudice. All that it churns out is trash, rubbish, junk, crap, waffle, raffle, lampoon, mythomania and mythopoeia meant for derogation and disparagement. Exaggerating the facts and events having a tinge of negativism is the primary priority objective of Indian media. Compulsive hostility of Indian media stems from perennial deep-seated hatred, rancour, acrimony and aversion. Kashmiris feel wary of Indian professed democracy. Pity the nation that, under chauvinistic and fascist impulsiveness, justified the liquidation of Kashmiri protomartyr Maqbool butt, the resistance icon, on Feb 11, 1984 through a frenzied verdict and decree based on hearsay evidence. Your system believes in sophism, whereas we Kashmiris believe in suphi’ism which entails righteousness, humanism, compassion, philanthropy and altruistic realpolitik and empiricism. India, as of now, is simply stereotyping the western imperialism under the Machiavellian political lemma “might is right.” We, the freedom zealots of Kashmir believe that it is, in fact, the right (based on wisdom and justice) that is real might one should feel proud of. The day is not far when Providence will ring the knell of the spell of imperialism in East and West.

It is nice that India and Pakistan are now engaged in resuscitated peace process. Foreign secretaries of the two countries will be meeting in Islamabad on June 23, 2011 for a formal discourse on Kashmir and peace. Hope you will not dodge each other through prattle, tattle and chatter; you will not dabble at and juggle with Kashmir issue through diplomatic gambit and gamble. Please stop skimming and tinkering with Kashmir issue. You have to discuss Kashmir situation and imbroglio in the purview and ambit of the historic pledge and promise of late Pt. Nehru and also the relevant UN resolutions on Kashmir. Our optimism suggests that the present round of talks will not be a palaver just to buy time for dilatory political detour. You have to do something substantive to palliate, salve and anoint the wounds of Kashmiris. You have to be magnanimous in displaying stoicism, prudence, benevolence and altruistic humanism while seeking means and methods to console, placate and conciliate the aggrieved and agonized Kashmiris.

Kashmir is teetering on the brink. The brew and stew of pent-up feelings, emotions and sentiments is palpable. The sporadic events of violent ultraism speak volumes of the unpredictable impending flare-up which can consume the cosmetic “democratic healing-touch tack and knack” of the armchair strategists of Delhi darbar. LOC armistice cannot camouflage the provocative horror and terror generated by your armoury in Kashmir. Myopic modes of diplomatic and political conflict-management cannot mitigate our suffering and hardships. It is political will and volition that can solve the Kashmir tangle. Our cautious optimism will live with self-adopted restraint, overtaxing an exercise indeed.
