Indian Media projects killed civilians as militants whereas army regrets
Srinagar: The Chattergam incident in central Kashmir’s Budgam district in which 2 among four civilians were declared brought dead whereas Indian media fabricated the reports and projected the traveling civilians as militants. An FIR has been filed in this regard by police whereas Army declared the dead as civilians but Times of India out rightly projected them as militants.
Whereas Indian media left no stone unturned to project the innocent civilians as terrorists. Times of India Indian National newspaper reported quiet opposite. Even the accident was fabricated to the extent in which 2 soldiers have been reported killed and 2 soldiers have been injured Times of India (TOI) reported. Ironically none of army personal was dead or injured it were 2 civilians among four killed and two critically injured. Whereas the civilians in car have been reported to have opened fire on security forces resulting in casualties but ironically the civilians in car were fired upon by security forces killing 2 among 4 civilians and they were listening to music.
The army resorted to indiscriminate firing on Maruti car when there was no repose the army rushed in and rushed the injured civilians to army hospital reports Rising Kashmir. In the incident Faizul and Mehraj were declared dead at Army Hospital whereas two other injured Zahid and Shakeel are admitted in intensive care unit (ICU). The doctors have declared the condition of both unstable. There have been inputs of movement of militants in the area an army official said.
The army spokesman said that army regrets the loss of lives and has ordered an inquiry to investigate into the circumstances leading the accident. Inspector General police Kashmir (IGP) said police has lodged an FIR in this regard reports Greater Kashmir.
