Pulwama: The entry of an Indian Army vehicle into Degree College Pulwama in South Kashmir, sparked protest and stone-pelting on Wednesday while College authorities said they don’t know the purpose of the Army’s presence inside the College.
Eyewitnesses told news agency CNS that an army Casper vehicle from 55 Rashtriya Rifles made it’s entry inside the Degree College Pulwama when majority of the students were busy taking classes. As the Army vehicles stopped in the premises of the College, agitated students left the classes and assembled in the College ground, raising massive pro-freedom slogans.

When contacted, College authorities said that they don’t know the purpose of army presence inside the college. “It has happened first time that any army vehicle has entered into the College premises without permission. The incident only created chaos and confusion,” they said.
