India cant suppress the freedom struggle of Kashmiris: Sardar Abid
MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Information Minister Sardar Abid Hussain Abid has said that resolution of Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiri people is imperative for bringing durable peace and prosperity in the region.
Talking to journalists here on Tuesday, he said that India is trying to suppress freedom movement in Kashmir with offensive methods but time is not far when Kashmiris would see the dawn of freedom of their motherland.
AJK Information Minister paid homage to the martyred youth Zaheer Anwar and said that the Kashmiris’ legitimate liberation movement could not be suppressed by use of military might.
He said that valiant Kashmiri people were standing resolute against the Indian oppression and brutality.
Sardar Abid said raising of Pakistani flag in Occupied Kashmir and slogans of “Kashmir Banay ga Pakistan” make it clear that India cannot merge Kashmir in it.
He said India is putting Hurriyat leaders behind bards and martyring youth to end the Kashmir freedom movement. Kashmir will soon be free from the clutches of Indian occupation, he remarked.
Paying rich tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs, Information Minister said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would continue the martyrs’ mission till its complete success.
He said that the people of the occupied territory had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste.
He appealed to international community to take serious notice of India’s state terrorism to suppress the indigenous struggle of Kashmiris for their internationally recognized right to self-determination.
