Hurriyat Conference delegation calls on Barjees Tahir
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Ch Muhammad Barjees Tahir has said that Pakistan’s stance regarding Kashmir dispute is clear like a broad day light that we would not accept any solution of Kashmir other than UN resolutions according to the wishes of Kashmiri people. He said this wile talking to a delegation of Hurriyat Conference from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, said a press release.A delegation of Hurriyat Conference, from Azad Jammu and Kashmir called on Federal Minister in his office on Wednesday. Federal Minister said that Un Security Council’s resolutions were the only way to resolve the dispute and Pakistan would not accept anything less than that.
Delegation thanked Prime Minister of Pakistan for highlighting the cause of Kashmir in international level with true spirit. Member said that Pakistan and kashmir have same points of view.
There is need of the hour that leadership of the both must be on same page in order to liberate kashmir from the clutches of India.
Delegation pinpointed several issues faced by the Kashmiri immigrants in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir which included settlement of 5000 immigrant Kashmiri families who migrated after 1990, issue of National Identity Card, problems of admissions in colleges, issue of quota for kashmiri immigrants in job in AJK and rehabilitation of Kashmiri immigrants affected by 2005 earthquake.
They also thanked the Minister for being a true representative of the feelings of Kashmiris. Federal Minister assured them to look into the matter seriously on priority basis and told the delegation that doors of government and Ministry were always open for their Kashmiri brethren.
