Honor Smartphones Take the Lead During Singles’ Day Performance

Soon to be launched Honor 7X becomes the bestseller in RMB 1000 to 2000 category

NEW DELHI:  Honor, the young, innovative and trendsetting smartphone brand for digital natives, has achieved another record performance on Singles’ Day, the largest online shopping festival in China. With over RMB 4.02 billion sales revenue on Chinese e-Commerce giant Jingdong (JD.com) and Alibaba (Tmall.com) platform, Honor became the number one in terms of revenue in Smartphone category of this two major players on Singles’ Day. To celebrate the success, Honor opens the festive deal for the holiday season worldwide.

With a broad portfolio and best-in-class product offering, Honor leads the sales amongst different price-points (from RMB 1000-3999) and became the top selling brand (in both revenue and volume) in the Smartphone category on JD.com’s platform, even surpassing Apple. As a new milestone for Chinese brand in this big campaign, Richard Liu, the Chairman and CEO of JD.com congratulated Honor for this success. According to the JD.com’s ranking from 1st to 11th Nov, Honor consolidated its leading position by surpassing Xiaomi for 7 days at volume and 8 days at revenue.

The recently launched Honor 7X phone with full-view display, started a selling frenzy of 300,000 units snapped-up in less than 2 hours, and then made it to the overall bestseller list amongst the RMB 1000-1999 on Alibaba (Tmall.com) on Singles Day. The Honor 7X will soon be introduced in India.

To share this success with Honor fans all over the world, Honor also rolled out the Honor Gala Festival in India through its Honor Store and through e-Commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon, which saw a whopping success.
