Srinagar: Distancing itself from the remarks made by militant commander Zakir Mosa, Hizbul Muhadeen Saturday said that it doesn’t subscribe to the views of Zakir and these are his personal remarks.

Pertinently, Hizbul Mujahideen leader Zakir Musa warned Hurriyat leaders that their heads will be chopped off and hung in the Lal Chowk here for interfering in the militant group’s “struggle for Islam”.

In an audio, which has gone viral on social media, Zakir is heard saying: “I am warning all those hypocrite Hurriyat leaders. They must not interfere in our Islamic struggle. If they do, we will cut their heads and hang them in Lal Chowk”.

Hizbul Mujhadeen spokesperson, Salim Hashmi in a statement to news agency CNS said that Hizb is evaluating his (Zakir Moosa’a) statement and the outfit will not shy away from taking any extreme step in the interest of freedom struggle.

“Whole nation is united after the martyrdom of Burhan Wani and has been running this freedom struggle and at this point of time, such provocative statement will only help anti-freedom forces and it will give a death blow to the struggle,” the spokesperson said and appealed freedom loving people particularly youth to counter the negative anti-movement propaganda of some media houses.
