“Her Excellency Daniele SMADJA, Ambassador European delegation in her letter no. DEL IND/HOD/POL/2011/D/763 dated 17.05.2011 addressed to the General Secretary of the Bar Association G. N. Shaheen Advocate has expressed her sorry and regrets for not meeting the Bar Association on 14 May last,” the spokesman told PBI.

The Bar Association, he said, received the written letter today enclosed.

“The Bar Association accepts the apology tendered by the European Union and hopes that European Union Delegates will accord consideration to all sensitivities in observing their scheduled programs and meetings with the suffering masses of J&K in order to update their knowledge and information about the Kashmir situation at first hand sources instead of state articulations.” (PBI)
