Brussels: The European Network Against Racism (ENAR) has strongly condemned the horrific attacks in Brussels today and mourns the many victims. “Our thoughts go to the victims and their families”,ENAR spokesperson said in a press release here.
The spokesperson further said, “It is crucial to refrain from incitement to hatred and violence against innocent people in the aftermath of these attacks and to avoid stigmatising and polarising any community.
Hate can only be countered by more unity and solidarity, and with more long-term investment in social inclusion. We need to continue upholding human rights and reinforcing democracy in the response to these attacks.”
