DC Neelum valley, Saqib Muneer dies in AJK landslide
MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 28 (INP): Deputy Commissioner Neelum Valley, Azad Jammu and Kashmir
(AJK) Raja Saqib Muneer died when landslide buried his vehicle here on Thursday.
According to details, DC Raja Saqib Muneer while on way to
Muzaffarabad from Neelum valley was trapped under landslide in Gamsar area of AJK.
As a result, DC died on the spot. The officials in
assistance with local people pulled out the body and shifted to hospital for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, President and Prime Minister of AJK have
expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sudden and sad demise of Raja Saqib Muneer. They condoled with the bereaved family and prayed for departed
soul to rest in eternal peace.
