RAWALPINDI: Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan
President Muslim Conference/ex-Premier of AJK has appealed to the political parties of Pakistan to rally their energies and abilities around the
banner of defence of Pakistan and economic vibrancy of the country without losing even a fraction of a second.
In his message on Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah birthday being celebrated by Kashmiris tomorrow the Muslim Conference President urged the political intellectuals and social
activists to draw fresh inspiration from the practical life and word of founder of Pakistan and ideological architect of Kashmiris to get to the
goalpost. Muslim Conference, he reminded, is the heir to the ideological legacy of Pakistan Movement for whose completion “we are making boldest
ever sacrifices in Jammu and Kashmir under heavy odds and trials”.
Sardar Attique Khan described the statement of Chief of Army Staff
Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani as refreshing wisdom. In fact armed forces of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan/Kashmir are one, facing multiple dire
challenges at this moment. Let all of not forget that the world powers keep their constant focus on this region. The whole of Asian continent has
entered a crucial stage of revised global strategic outlook. Pakistan’s elders in political fields and in uniform have had to keep their
collective fingers on the strategic pulse of the region to protect the future interests of Pakistan and Kashmir.
He announced launching from
Muslim Conference platform Takmeel-e-Tehrik-e-Pakistan by enlisting youth from every part of Kashmir and Pakistan from tomorrow, on the birthday of
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as Kashmir is the life-vein of Pakistan and every one of us is required to rise to the occasion, he urged. In my
premiership in AJK I have renamed Kohala-Chakothi highway leading to Srinagar as Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah highway to lend permanent strength
to our vision od accession of Kashmir to Pakistan, he said.
