AJK Prime Minister condemns Indian brutalities in IOK

MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Choudhry Abdul Majeed has called upon the international community to play its proactive role in stopping genocide of Kashmiris by Indian forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to various public delegations that called on him here on Monday, he said that India is committing gross human rights violations in the held territory.

He said that international human rights organizations including Amnesty International in their latest reports expressed their grave concern over the deteriorating human rights situation in the occupied Kashmir which is an eye opener for the peace loving countries of the world.

AJK Premier strongly condemned the illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders, arbitrary arrest of Kashmiri youth and desecration of holy places by Indian forces in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that India could not suppress the indigenous Kashmir freedom movement by its nefarious designs and expressed the hope that a time will come in near future when Kashmiris will see the dawn of freedom of their motherland.

Choudry Abdul Majeed expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in recent torrential rains in occupied Kashmir and said that people of Azad Jammu and Kashmirs are standing should to shoulder with their brethren in Indian occupied Kashmir in the this time of crises.

He appealed to world human rights bodies to generously support the flood victims of occupied Kashmir.

Commenting on the recent Gurdaspur incident, AJK Prime Minister said that India through its intelligence agencies was using all cheap tactics to defame the genuine Kashmir liberation movement.

Replying a question he said that India is trying to deceive international community through its heinous propaganda against Pakistan which is highly condemnable.
