AJK PM demands stern action against Altaf, MQM

Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed has strongly condemned MQM chief Altaf Hussain for making intolerable speeches against the armed forces and the state of Pakistan and demanded stern action against him.

Speaking at a prizes and certificate distribution ceremony organized by AJK Electricity Department among those who showed outstanding performance in the department, Prime minister said Altaf Hussain and his party men have crossed all the limits and they no more deserve any kind of clemency.

“Pakistan is passing through the most critical juncture of its history and such derogatory statements against the sensitive state institutions are extremely harmful for the country”, he warned

The statements issued from London by Altaf Hussain against are not just objectionable but against the sovereignty of the country, premier said. He added that inviting UN and NATO to send forces in Karachi is an act of high treason and hurt the sentiments of the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir who demands that traitor should be brought to justice without any delay.

Commenting on the forthcoming National Security Advisors Level talks between India and Pakistan, the prime minister urged Islamabad to discuss Kashmir issue and raise the Indian involvement in terrorist acts in Pakistan with New Delhi. Saying India is not sincere to resolve Kashmir issue through dialogue, Majeed blamed that Modi government is making situation more complex by hatching conspiracies against Pak- China Economic Corridor.

Prime Minister while appreciating the role of armed forces in eliminating the scourge of terrorism in the country, said peace is rapidly returning in Karachi and tribal areas of Pakistan bordering with Afghanistan. This all become possible due to the sacrifices of our valiant soldiers and officers, PM said.

AJK Minister for Education Mian abdul Waheed, Minister for Electricity, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and Secretary Electricity and Hydro Electrict Board, Fayyaz Ali Abbasi also spoke on the occasion.

The prime Minister highly appreciated the performance of the electricity department in collection of revenue and directed the department to maintain the pace of revenue collection in coming days.
