The organisers also highlighted the latest Kashmir situation during the event. One of the EU civil society officials told Kashmir Watch that the civil society groups will develop pressure on EU policy makers that Kashmir should not become another #Syria.
EU civil society also vowed to work as Pressure Group and force European policy makers to resolve global conflicts including Kashmir.
The Kashmir.Foundation director and editor of Kashmir Watch Abdul Latif Bhat held the one to one meetings with the officials of World Solidarity Forum and Uphold Europe and briefed further them about the scale up of Indian state terrorism in Kashmir. The organisers invited Abdul Latif Bhat for next event to be conducted in European Parliament in May 2017.
Currently Kashmir is less on focus on European agenda due to its close relations with India. European civil society aims to engage local people and immigrant community so that a pressure can be developed on European policy makers and politicians to intensify lobbying in resolving the global disputes and address the issues faced by immigrants.
