Cricketer detained after singing Pakistan national anthem, APHC terms frustration of state authorities

SRINAGAR: Terming the detention of youth allegedly arrested for singing Pakistan national anthem during a cricket match and handing over them to India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), frustration of state authorities, All Party Hurriyat Conference said that it is not a serious issue and authorities are unnecessarily giving it hype.

They are acting as puppets, said Hurriyat and we are worst victims of state and Hindutva terrorism.

Spokesman said that people here love Pakistan and this sentiment is there since the Pakistan came into existence. It is an instinct and sentiment that thrives in our soul, said Hurriyat.

Hurriyat spokesman said that for we people it is not crime and asked authorities that you can’t convict everyone and how many you will convict for illustrating their sentiments for Pakistan.

Demanding immediate release of detained youth, and strongly criticizing authorities for handing over youth to NIA, spokesman said that it is ridiculous and said these youths are innocent and didn’t committed any offence.

Spokesman said India is a “Hindu Rashtra” and we are facing Hindu terrorism and India has virtually declared a war against Muslim majority population in state. (PTK)
