SRINAGAR: Pellet Victim Association strongly denounced the indiscriminate pellet firing and shelling over the people in south Kashmir twons of Shopian and Kulgam once again by Indian Forces without any provocation, a press statement issued reads.
While expressing solidarity with the dozens injured persons a team of Association Altaf Ahmed, Mohmmad Ashraf, Danish visited the Hospital and inquire about their health and pray for their early recovery. Throughout Kashmir valley are under pellet and shelling fire and people are afraid and unsafe, said Association.
Spokesman said that 20 thousand people have been hit by pellet in which several hundreds have lost eye sight and has appealed to the world community and Human Rights institutions to come forward and use good office to stop the use of pellet guns and shelling in Kashmir. Unless and until such kind of dangerous weapons are not banned, the people of Kashmir will feel unsafe and unstable. (PTK)
